The Storyteller Behind the Portfolio

My name is Michaela Lumpert and I am a  graduate of Berry College. As a journalism major I have spent long hours crafting my writing style and using it for everything from blog style articles to news writing to social media posts. When the pandemic struck, I had to pivot. No longer were journalists being hired, the world of journalism seemed to stop. An opportunity came up with a PR agency and soon I was working as a social media intern for a florist where I created content and managed their Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook.

Now I work as a Digital Communications Associate for Marietta City Schools, crafting stories for the district and managing all digital fields.
