Written Work
I learned from a young age that writing was a talent I was gifted with. Below are just few sections that highlight the diversity of writing skills I have. I have written everything from news articles, opinion pieces, press releases, feature-style travel writing, and scripts for both promotional videos and short films.

Press Releases
Below are a few of the press releases I have written for Marietta City Schools. These have included a variety of topics from events happening in the district to announcing new hires.
News Articles
By working at the Campus Carrier, the Berry Collegee newspaper, I learned incredible writing skills that helped me craft my own voice and style in my journalism articles. By clicking the link below, you will be directed to just a few of the numerous news articles that I have written over my tenure at the paper.
Opinion Pieces
Just like any journalist, I have learned to write unbiasedly. But similar to other journalists, I have opinions that I love to share. Over my time at the Carrier, I was given the opportunity to share just a few of the opinions I have. The range from serious topics of how journalists are viewed poorly to why 'Friends' is the best television show out there.
Scripts
As a senior, I had the opportunity to take a scriptwriting class that taught me the art of writing scripts for both promotional videos as well as short, feature films. While challenging and completely different from the typical set of articles I write, this class taught me how diverse I am with my writing capabilities.
Artifacts
Summer of 2019, I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Paris. My Parisian experience was unlike others because my trip was focused on learning how to travel-write. I travelled all over the country and wrote about the experiences I had, from wine-tasting, to visiting the Paris Aquarium. One of my articles was published in a large, catch-all piece of what it's like to travel to the unknown parts of Paris.
